SEQUOIA ETCHEVERRY, M.A.

Sequoia currently resides in unceded Miwok and Pomo territories, now called Sonoma County, CA. Her ancestry is a tapestry woven from many lineages including Basque, Celtic, and Sami traditions. Recovering the ways of knowing the self as a part of the whole has been a passion of hers for many years. She is a psychologist of the soul and a seasoned facilitator of human relationships – tracking the personal, interpersonal, and the more-than-human experiences. She is passionate about the process of exploring and discovering in wild places, both within and without. She currently specializes in working with healing trauma in first responders and their family members. She has been with the SIAWH board since 2014.
